The Heartland Virtual Social Work Conference, organized by Heartland Counseling and Training, offers practical learning experiences for social workers. It supports continuing education, skill development, and effective practice in diverse communities and practice settings. As an accessible annual event, it advances social work practice through education, professional connection, and flexible learning while supporting licensure requirements. Workshops on ethics, policy, and clinical topics, allow participants to earn up to 18 continuing education units (CEUs). The conference includes practitioners from across the Midwest, providing learning and networking opportunities for social workers in the heartland and nationwide.
